Welcome to my website! I am a wife of 15 years, mother of 4 children (ages 2 to 10), and author of YOU CAN HAVE A HAPPY FAMILY - Steps to Enjoying Your Marriage and Children. The first five years of my marriage were chaotic to say the least. Once I started following Christ ten years ago, my life, my marriage, and my family slowly began to change.
In April 2009, while leading Bible studies in my home, I felt a strong calling from God to start writing YOU CAN HAVE A HAPPY FAMILY. People often asked my husband and me what the key was to our happy marriage and family. We always responded the same: "It's all God." But I felt we left people wanting something more. That's when I knew God wanted me to share the steps He took us through to bring us contentment and joy in our home.
God sent many wonderful people to help me along the way, so the book wouldn't just be about my story and my perspective on marriage and raising children. I am grateful for all the willing hearts God used to help bring this book to completion. I could not have done it without them. God sent people willing to donate their time and money to help me. He sent editors, teachers, and leaders to help me where I lacked knowledge. He sent mothers and fathers willing to share their struggles and testimonies to help me produce a book that truly meets the needs of families today.
I am excited to see God transform families through YOU CAN HAVE A HAPPY FAMILY. I am confident no one will walk away unmoved by the power of God in it. I am confident God will use this book to transform families and bring them true lasting contentment in their homes.
