Welcome to my website! I am a wife of 16 years, mother of 4 children, and author of "You Can Have a Happy Family: Steps to Enjoying Your Marriage and Children" and "The LOVE Walk: A 15 - Week Devotional on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8." God rescued me twelve years ago from destroying my life, my marriage, and my family. I then spent the next eight years in the wilderness, as God had A LOT to work out of me. Those years weren’t easy, and at times I thought I was better off before, but I eventually saw the amazing work God was doing in me, my marriage, and my family.
In April 2009, I was leading Bible studies in my home when I felt a strong calling from God to share my testimony in my book: "You Can Have a Happy Family." A year later God led me to start a blog (SharingTruths.com) to share the reasons and benefits behind the life-changing truths in His Word. In September 2011, "You Can Have a Happy Family" was published. A year later, God led me to start turning my blog series into devotional Bible studies. In November 2012, my first devotional study "The LOVE Walk" was published. And in April 2013, I published my second devotional "Armor of Light." Since I started writing, God's opened many doors for me to share the gospel of Christ. I am still amazed how God saved me, transformed me, and is now using as a vessel for His Glory! I know I still have a long way to go, but I take comfort in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10:
“'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
